Happy wokcake day.

Just got this posted before the day is out. Did you squirt lemon juice in your eye then...? For the first pancake day in ages I made pancakes... well non stick wok cakes as my non stick pan is now a stick pan !

Happy wokcake day to you too.

Great expression on the chef - something of Pink Panther cartoons in it!

Nice colour palette too - did you consider a pancake texture in the background - nice browned areas giving an old parchment feel?

Ha! He's great. I get the sense that's not the first time he's lost a pancake in this way.

Hello Matt!! Thanks a million for visiting my blog and for your kind comment..:-)
Great character design, the expression of his face is really funny. I love the "complicated simplicity" of your works, you are a great artist!

i never believed in non-stick pans. i have five of them, and they all never lived up to their promise. sigh.

i like your works. they have a wicked sense of humor behind them. :-)

My siblings and I have been trying to plan a pancake day for weeks.

Great work, as usual! I think it's the humor that gives your art a special touch :D

Oh darn, I forgot all about pancake day! Love your illustration - chef looks a little fierce, but for some reason that seems to be their prerogative! Non - stick pans don't exist in my opinion!

Great character-- I like the checkered pants. He looks like he would be a force to be reckoned with on 'Iron Chef.'
