Stephen Fry is taller than that...

You look at things after a nights sleep and what do you find but a 'stumpy Stephen Fry'. While I was putting him on the rack I thought I'd take my good friend Phil's recommendation and put a bit of colour in his face. I'm enjoying the stylised white face & pink nose look from my Bleriot illustrations but I cannot deny that this pic benefits from the warmer flesh tones. Soupy twist m'colleagues as Stephen might say.

Aahh! Perfect! The colour in the face definately warms this up. In the previous version he did look a bit peeky, and was kind of getting lost in the shirt detail. Really nice job.

You reminded me, I remember doing a group caricature of the Blackadder Goes Forth cast many moons ago. Must track that down.

Looks much better. The only thing that's happening, and it may be my screen, but it looks like you are losing the tip of his nose a little.

Mr. Fry will love it I'm sure!

Cheers Matt. Yeah I think you should definately do more caricatures. This one reminded me so much of the caricatures I saw, as a kid, in the RadioTimes. They were so stylised, yet there was never any question who they were supposed to be. Really cool.
